Two weeks online study program for inbound student arranged by the College of Nursing, Taipei Medical University.

The online study program for inbound students was held on January 25 to February 5, 2021 arranged by the College of Nursing, Taipei Medical University (TMU). Shino Oiwa and Riko Kikuchi, third year students from the Department of Social work practice, School of Nursing and Social Services, Health Sciences University of Hokkaido (HSUH) attended that program. The two participants were scheduled for short-term exchange program at TMU in March 2020, but due to the spread of the COVID19 infection, the program was canceled. It was an excellent opportunity for them to participate in this online study program. The program was held for partner universities of TMU. Approximately 80 students had participated, mostly from China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan and also some other countries.

On the first day, Dean Kuei-Ru Chou gave the opening remarks. After that, in the introduction of participating universities, Assistant Professor Md Riasat HASAN of the International Education and Exchange Center, HSUH introduced our university with online presentation. Everyday from 8:00 to 17:00, the students learned about various topics. In addition, they gave a short presentation in the last day of the online program.
