The language program, which has been held at University of Alberta in Canada every summer, was held online this year due to the global spread of COVID-19.
16 students from HSUH participated in the two-week online program and learned practical, natural English on topics such as Canadian history, culture, diversity, SDGs, and Intercultural Communication.
With losing the opportunities of studying abroad and international exchange under the Covid-19 pandemic, this online program provided a great opportunity for our students to communicate in English with people from different backgrounds and experience cross-cultural exchange as well as cultivate a global mindset through exposure to multiple cultures and diverse values.
