Fifth year student Ling Kai LU winning the 3rd place – Best International Award in the UiTM Dental Students’ Scientific Symposium-2021 which was held on 27th & 28th April 2021. The 11th UiTM Dental Students’ Scientific Symposium was arranged by faculty of dentistry, Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia (UiTM), Malaysia. UiTM invited our undergraduate dental students to participate in that symposium. This year the event was held virtually. From HSUH, 5th year student Ling Kai Lu, Miyamoto Kosuke, Noguchi Yukiko submitted their research. On 28th April, 2021, Ling Kai LU presented in the symposium. The title of the presentation was “ALTERATION OF MICROFLORA AND ANTI-MICROBIAL PEPTIDES IN THE ORAL CAVITY OF BEE POLLEN FED MICE”, which was supervised by Professor Yoshihiro ABIKO and Dr. Osamu UEHARA. Around 5 countries participated in the symposium and more than 50 students presented their research. From HSUS, International Education and Exchange Center, Assistant Professor Md Riasat HASAN attended the symposium.
