令和3年12月11日にWEB開催された日本再生歯科医学会第19回学術大会で本学大学院歯学研究科4学年のTubayesha Hassanさんが「優秀発表賞（大学院生部門）」を受賞しました。
受賞発表：The effects of dentin phosphophoryn-derived RGD peptides on the proliferation and differentiation of human dental pulp stem cells in-vitro.
Hassanさんの発表は、象牙質リンタンパク質であるphosphophorynの生理活性部位を用いた「象牙質再生誘導」アプローチに関するもので、phosphophoryn部分ペプチドがヒト歯髄幹細胞から象牙芽細胞への分化を誘導することを明らかにしました。
今回の研究結果を基に、今後、本ペプチドの修復象牙質誘導能を効果的に発揮し、象牙質再生により歯髄組織を保護して、一生自分の歯で食事を楽しむことが可能な機能性材料の開発を目指します。

 

Received the Excellent Presentation Award at the 19th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Regenerative Dentistry

 

The 19th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Association of Regenerative Dentistry held online on December 11, 2021. Dr. Tubayesha Hassan, 4th year graduate student from division of Clinical Cariology and Endodontology, Department of Oral Rehabilitation, School of Dentistry, of our university was received the “Excellent Presentation Award (Graduate Student Category)”.

Title: The effects of dentin phosphophoryn-derived RGD peptides on the proliferation and differentiation of human dental pulp stem cells in-vitro.

The presentation of Dr. Tubayesha Hassan was focus on dentin regeneration using dentin phosphoprotein-derived peptide which induces differentiation of human dental pulp stem cells into odontoblasts in vitro.

Dr. Tubayesha Hassan will try to develop the functional materials that protect dental pulp tissue by dentin regeneration to maintain teeth function for a lifetime based on the research results.
