In 2013, the Global Networking Office was established. In 2017, the center was restructured and renamed to International Education and Exchange Center (IEEC). The principal objectives of the IEEC are to promote the HSUH abroad and exchange cultural views and new ideas on education systems with various institutes and universities from around the world. Moreover, the IEEC offers support to foreign students during their stay in Japan and assist them in every possible way. Currently, the IEEC has activities in four sectors: International collaboration and exchange, overseas admission of interested applicants, research and educational exchange, and international student counseling. The International activities of all schools of the HSUH are supported and promoted by the IEEC.
