The Short term International Student Exchange Program was held on March 14 March 18, 2022 arranged by the School of Dentistry, Health Sciences University of Hokkaido (HSUH). The Student Exchange Program, was held online this year due to the global spread of COVID-19. Thirteen undergraduate students from Mahidol University (MU), Thailand participated in the one-week online program and learned various topics regarding Dentistry. Four undergraduate students from HSUH also join in this program. With losing the opportunities of visit HSUH under the Covid-19 pandemic, this online program provided a great opportunity for MU students to communicate with professors and undergraduate students.

 

On the first day, Dean School of Dentistry, HSUH Professor Yasushi FURUICHI gave the opening remarks. After that, Director of International Education and Exchange center (IEEC), HSUH Professor Yoshihiro ABIKO gave a special lecture regarding Dentistry in Japan and introduce HSUH. Total 17 Professors and Assistant Professors give a lecture in this Short term International Student Exchange Program. Assistant Professors Md Riasat HASAN and Ms. Sachie TONEYA of the IEEC, HSUH conducted the whole program. In addition, all the students from MU gave a short presentation on the last day of the online program.
