From 22 June to 3 July 2026, one student from the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) participated in a two-week short-term exchange programme at the School of Medical Technology of Health Sciences University of Hokkaido.

The student participated in lectures and practical training, visited the Tobetsu Campus, and experienced Japanese culture, including calligraphy. A joint programme was also held with another student from the University of Gothenburg who was studying at our dental hygiene school.

The programme provided a valuable opportunity to learn about medical technology and Japanese university life while interacting with students and faculty members at HSUH.
